Hello and welcome to The Women’s Parliament.

The idea behind The Women’s Parliament is to bring women together to envision what sort of future we want for South Australia and our nation.

The first ever Parliament will launch in October 2017 and will bring together women from across South Australia to debate, discuss and put forward a vision for the future.

I am very excited to be launching this initiative as I strongly believe that women need to have a louder voice in our political system. How can women shape the political future and be involved in political decision making that works around our busy lives – rather than us having to fit into a system designed to primarily exclude women from power and leadership.
